September 11th, 2009 -- Posted in fertility, shady grove | 3 Comments »i had the hsg done yesterday and found out that my fallopian tubes are clear! i’m really relieved and happy that the hsg is over. it wasn’t really painful, but it really wasn’t that pleasant either. if you need to have one, take some ibuprofen before you go and that will help a lot. again, it’s not really painful…just uncomfortable.
both the anticipation of the test and getting the results were probably the worst parts since i have a habit of thinking doomsday thoughts. i was very happy to hear the results immediately and that made up for any of the discomfort.
now we just have to have the bloodwork done and j’s sa completed. then we can move on to the ‘treatment’ phase of the plan next cycle!
