i am such a slacker.
life has been really interfering with my internet time lately! work and school seem to have taken over and since both require lots of computer time, i try to step away from the laptop when i can!
i visited with my college girlfriends this weekend in pittsburgh. it really didn’t seem like 13 years had passed since i last saw them. we fell right back into the way things were in college; picking on each other, laughing, crying, sharing…just like old times. we played old (are they old now?) drinking games like asshole and 3-man, looked at old pictures, drank A LOT of beer (thankfully, we’re now able to afford good beer), and really just had a blast together. we laughed at our hair and our clothes and the boys we dated. :)
my husband’s grandmother and one of his uncles passed away a few weeks ago. they were from different sides of the family and died within a few days of each other. both funerals were outside of philadelphia, so it was another trip to pa for us. it was the first time that i met any of his dad’s side of the family (except for the grandmother who passed away). sad circumstances brought us all together, but it was really nice to spend time with his family again.
the medifast thing was on the back burner for a few weeks. i didn’t want to do it half of the time (sort of a waste of money to do it that way) so i re-focused this morning and am back on track. i’ll update soon with more about that!
